ABOUT LAPKA

I made Lapka for walks with Yasha and Senya.

I’m Ivan, an analyst and the developer of Lapka. I started making the app out of curiosity. I wanted to know how much we actually walked.

WHY I MADE IT

I wanted to know how much we really walked.

There was no big plan. I was curious about our daily walks and decided to build a small app to track them.

Because I work as an analyst, I naturally wanted to see more than one walk. I wanted to know how often we went out, how long we walked, and whether our routine changed.

Later I added potty breaks, photos, notes, shared care, and a walk history with statistics.

Yasha

Yasha is smart and well-mannered. He also likes standing on his back legs whenever he thinks it might earn him something.

Senya

Senya is still a puppy. He is bold, pushy, and not especially worried about rules.

HOW I USE LAPKA

These are the screens I use on our walks.

Before a walk, I choose who is going. During it, I record the walk and potty breaks. Later, I can check our history and statistics.

WHAT’S NEXT

I’m still working on it.

I use Lapka on our walks and keep changing the parts that feel unclear or inconvenient. If you use the app and something feels off, I’d like to hear about it.
